Update your wardrobe and work out

By “updating” we mean throwing out the ripped jeans and the flannel shirts you hoarded since Curt Cobain started smelling the teen spirit. Let’s face it, you’re not in college nom ore, guy. Time to be choosier about the clothes you wear. First into the trash bin is that ratty sport shirt you had since college. Ask yourself this: Does a checkered orange-and-blue shirt ever flatter anyone? Get yourself to the nearest mall and grab a few Polo Ralph Lauren Solid Cotton Chino sport shirts. For sheer comfort, nothing beats Polo classic chino shirt. This version is especially washed creating the timeworn, lived-on look of you favorite shirt. And in time, we guarantee you, you’ll be hanging on to these the same way you’ve resisted giving up your college favorites.

Do something different

Yeah, yeah, we’ve all heard the same old tired excuses, but the fact is, we’re all lazy bums who’d rather watch the sports channel than break out into a sweat—especially if it’s not the bedroom variety. Try prying the remote from your fingers and do something different. Conquer your fear of heights and take up mountain-climbing. Aside from getting you in tip-top shape (No weak sissies allowed in this sport. It’s your life literally hanging in the balance out there), mountain climbing hones your intelligence, quick-thinking, and gets you ready to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenger. Pretty good deal for scaling a rock, what? But before you go up that mountain, do as the Boy Scouts do and be prepared. Suit up in the proper gear. And for many years now, the world’s best mountain climbers have relied on one brand of outdoor apparel: The North Face. So if you’re planning on hiking up that rock face, be sure you have someone reliable covering your back—literally. The North Face products are available at sports and outdoor stores nationwide.
